KDrama Love – Queen In Hyun’s Man (인현왕후의 남자)

Today I’m here to talk about one of my other loves KDrama!

I really didn’t start getting into KDrama until last year but I have been stuck on it ever since.

Ok so beside being in another language whats so different about KDrama to western dramas?

  • KDrama doesn’t mean just korean shows in the drama genre like western shows. Drama is the title given to most TV Shows. So you have KDrama with all different genres.
  • Most of the shows consist of 45min to 1hr long episodes (that’s not including ads)
  • Korean Dramas tell a story from start to finish. So its very rare for them to have more than one season. Most Korean drama’s run for around 14-16 episodes but some are as shorts as 8 episodes and others as long a 28 episodes.

My Thoughts

I loved this drama. To say I cried would be an understatement I balled my eyes out. This drama makes you weep and laugh at the same time. The action scenes are amazing and I love the comedy in it. It got to a point when I was like “GIVE THEM A BREAK” but it never feels too over the top like they are just throwing stuff in their way for effect.

I would recommend this drama to anyone who loves a good romantic comedy but doesn’t mind a bit a Melodrama. The action scenes really round out this drama showing it has something for everyone. As soon as its available on Dramafever I’m gonna watch it all again.

Do you recommend any Kdramas?

  1. I like to hear about good K Dramas as I mostly watch the Japanese ones! Life’s been a bit too busy to watch many at the moment for me but ihavesome J drama reviews on my sitekf you’re ever curious!

My fave K Drama that I can recommend is called 18 vs 28 or 18 vs 21… I alwaysgetconfused with the second number in the title! Anyway, it’s a romance and you can stream it from mysoju.com :)

    Have a great week ahead!

    • Hey Sarah!

I love Kdrama’s! So expect more reviews to come. I love it because it helps me stay familiar with the how the Korean Language sounds which really helps me with my lessons.

I also love it because just like period drama when they final kiss or admit they love each other it just feels so rewarding. hehe

I’ve heard of that one but not had a chance to watch it yet. I’m watching Flower boy next door and Level 7 Civil Servant which are new and making my way through Heartstings as well.

My sister is a huge fan of Jdrama’s as she is fluent in Japanese and watches them without subtitles! So jealous.

Sadly mysoju.com is currently down so I’m watching things on Dramafever.com and Viki.com

      Talk to you soon lovely!
